Creating an online fundraising page takes just a few minutes. Set up an online page through JustGiving and donations will come directly to Mission Rabies:

This is a great platform to use if you want to do a interactive fundraiser, as Tiltify has a range of engagement tools, like polls, rewards, and milestones, to encourage donations! Find out more here.

Our fundraisers are very important to us, and we make sure to support them. You can email us any time if you need help with planning, promotion or materials for your fundraiser. We can also promote your fundraising page on our social media channels.
Let everyone know what you are doing through social media, send a press release to your local paper, or put out flyers
Ask your friends and family to share your page
Share updates on your journey, if you are training for a challenge or planning your own event, let everyone know how you are getting on
Promote your page offline using a QR code on posters and flyers
We would be happy to provide you with some images you can use to promote your page, please email us at fundraising@missionrabies.org.uk and we can send you some.
We have flyers and leaflets we can send to you to highlight the work you are helping to make possible. We also have collection pot labels available that you can print off and use, contact us if you would like one.
Using a QR code is a great way to make more people aware of your fundraising page, as you can create a flyer or poster and include your QR code. This can also be attached to a collection tin so people can donate online.
You can generate a QR code from your JustGiving page using the steps below;
Log in to your JustGiving account and go to your page
Click 'edit your page' in the top-left corner of your screen
Click on the 'share' tab on the left of your screen
Select the QR symbol (the last symbol on the right, next to the envelope email symbol)
Ask your friends and families to donate
Incentivise donations with rewards or giveaways
Ask your company, or a local business to donate or match your funds
Be the first to donate to your page to show everyone how serious you are
Share regular updates about your fundraiser through social media
Use stories of communities we have helped and impact figures to encourage people to give, you can find these in our fundraising pack
Our fundraising pack has lots of additional information that can support your fundraiser. The money you raise will help vaccinate dogs to protect them from this deadly disease, educate children and communities to equip them with the crucial knowledge to protect themselves from the cruelty of rabies, and establish sustainable surveillance systems in rabies hotspots to ensure the safety of communities by quickly responding to suspected cases.

Unsure how you want to fundraise for Mission Rabies? Take some inspiration from our supporters who have previously fundraised for us.
In 2023, team ICON cycled an impressive 350km from Zurich to Munich to raise funds for Mission Rabies. The team raised over £4,800 to protect people and animals from this deadly disease.
Lauren joined us in Cambodia last year and to raise funds she organised a charity afternoon tea, where she also hosted a raffle. She smashed her target of £350 by raising over £800!
Dr. Silke Körlings-King and Dr. Matthias König joined our mass vaccination campaign in Tanzania in 2023 and to raise funds they completed Mount Kilimanjaro, reaching the peak!

To connect your account to Twitch or YouTube, go to the 'integration' section, and then press 'connect' next to the social media logos

For this fundraising event livestreaming is just one way to get involved, if you do not feel comfortable livestreaming or do not have the equipment, you can also fundraise in other ways. You could do an offline event, for example a board game marathon or complete a challenge in an online game without livestreaming it and get your friends and family to sponsor you!
This fundraiser is supposed to be fun! Feel free to play any kind of game you enjoy, or you think other people would like to watch.
Every donation matters! But you can always take part and raise awareness about the dangers of rabies and our work at Mission Rabies to end this deadly disease.
